So, I have an 18 month old daughter who demands a lot of my time these days. So I apologize in advance for lack of updates. I had started out with the best of intentions and then they dwindled. Fast.

I had wanted to write about so many things. I had intended to respond to the Wall Street Journal article- that came out almost a year ago now! I wanted to post pictures of my new paintings. I wanted to write about my experiences painting. And my experiences with painting post-graduate school- in other words my experiences not painting. I wanted to write about my feelings upon seeing Julie and Julia- and how I thought it related to my obsession with Greenspan. Alas, time and poor time management got the better of me. Also, I wasn't sure I liked the idea of spewing into a public sphere so many private thoughts. Alas, I've now decided what the hell.

For Christmas I was given a very special gift. It was a half finished Greenspan that was painted on the set of CNBC. We had brought a back up painting to the shooting that day just incase my on camera television nerves got the better of my painting skills. I suppose a little like a chef on a cooking show has to pre cook a cake. Anyway, it got me thinking about my career and how I loved to paint that man- for the sheer absurdity of it! I think some where along the way I lost that joy because I started to over think it all. I guess a little like I over thought the blog.

Anyway, here is the half finished painting. It is sorf of nice, in its own little way...
